This painting took almost
2,000 hours to paint. It seems
like a task, but I don't think
I enjoyed any painting as much
as I enjoyed this one.

I used a variety of caps
and lids to stamp the bubble
shapes over the entire canvas,
working from larger to smaller
stamps to give a surreal spacing
and perspective. After I was
done stamping, I painted each
bubble by glazing and using the
smallest brushes I could find.
